Crystal of the month of January – Blue Lace Agate

Blue Lace Agate for Blue Monday

At the start of January we are usually full of beans and raring to race head long into the coming year. Then, as the month slowly trundles on the weather gets colder and the nights seem longer and darker. The bills arrive showing  any debt built up during the Christmas spending spree. We have usually abandoned our New Years resolution and lost our motivation to continue but still have a feeling that we need to take action. All of this leads to what the experts call Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year and in 2013 it falls on Monday 21st January.

So, for this reason Blue Lace Agate has been chosen as our favourite crystal of the month as it brings in a cooling peace of mind and helps us to freely express our thoughts and feelings.  January is a hard month to get through for many as the lack of sunshine and warmth reduces our energy levels and this is where this crystal comes into its own. It is a deeply nurturing and supportive stone that works by evenly balancing out the physical, emotional and intellectual energies.

blue lace agateBlue Lace Agate is an amazing stone that works especially well on the throat, neck, shoulder and chest area. Opening up the throat chakra to allow free self-expression and new modes of communication which can be highly beneficial when one is starting to feel down and out of sorts with themselves.

This is a variegated form of Chalcedony that displays differing pretty shades of blue and white often found in a lace pattern effect when the stone is polished and tumbled.

When used in a healing environment it is especially beneficial to arthritic and rheumatoid conditions, which can be worsened during the cold damp winter months. It is known for strengthening the skeletal system as a whole and cleanses the lymphatic system.

Wearing a piece of Blue Lace Agate will enhance your mental function, increase your concentration levels and analytical abilities. This is exactly what is required to overcome the depressive feelings that can be sensed on Blue Monday.

If depression is something that does affect your life, why not consider enjoying the benefits of a personal one to one crystal healing. Contact me for further details

Crystal of the month November – Mookite

The month of November reminds us that another year is nearly over as we start to think towards the coming year and all it is going to bring for us. This is a good month to reflect on what have been both the highlights and low lights of 2012 for us. To seriously think about what we would like to achieve for ourselves over the next 12 months and to allow our desire for new experiences to be reawakened.

This time Mookite has been chosen as our favourite crystal of the month as it has a wonderfully calming energy to carry with you during your daily life. One of its specialities is that is helps one to move forward in life with ease and gives the confidence to believe in your decision making process. It openly encourages balanced thoughts and allows you to remain flexible and honest with any new ideas you may have.

Mookite is an astonishing stone for those who feel they are alone or just lonely. It is also a great stone that is available to help those who are often kind to all others and forget about themselves and it reminds them to start to think of themselves in a kind and loving manner too.

Mookite is a variety of jasper and is often referred to as Australian Jasper. It is available in a blend of colours ranging from mustard yellow to deep burgundy red.

When used in a healing environment it is beneficial to the immune system and for purifying the blood.

Wearing a piece of Mookite will allow you to be versatile in your daily life as well as pointing out all of the opportunities that are available to you at that time and assists in choosing the right path to follow.

Crystal of the Month – August

Amazonite

During the month of August the music festival season steps up a gear here in the UK and throughout Europe. Young and old alike, use this time to come together in one place to share the joys of listening to live music. Unfortunately though, not all of us are sensible and protect our hearing, as we know we should.

For this reason Amazonite has been chosen as our favourite crystal of the month. It is known as the ‘stone of communication’ and works to dissipate energy blockages in the throat chakra. As this chakra is responsible for some of our daily functions such as hearing, it is not surprising that so many blockages can occur in this area.

Amazonite works well on hearing and ear problems as it soothes muscle cramps thereby reducing the pain associated with earache.  It also works to balance our physical senses of hearing, smelling, and tasting, the 3 main ways that we receive information and gain pleasure during our lifetime.

Often found in differing shades from turquoise to dark green, Amazonite is a type of feldspar that enables one to access and open their communication channels fully. Helping you to clearly hear all of the sounds that are around you. When used in a healing environment Amazonite uses its powerful filtration action to open up the throat chakra thereby enhancing all loving communication.

If you would like to enjoy the benefits of a personal one to one crystal healing why not get in touch and book your session today.

How Does Magnet Healing Work?

There are two main ways that magnets can be used to speed recovery from injury and ill health. Magnets can either be placed directly on the body at the pain point or surround the body to improve the flow of blood to all areas.

By using magnet healing on specific points a whole range of common ailments can be treated such as back pain, sciatica, arthritis, rheumatism and sports injuries.

When the magnet is placed on and around the affected area any soft tissue will lengthen and help to relax the ligament or muscle that has been damaged or traumatised. Usually an injured site on the body, whether it be a sports injury or arthritis, is surrounded by swelling and inflammation. When a magnet is placed on the area and the muscle and tissue relaxes the blood flow that has been blocked from the damaged site is then allowed in and the body can start its own healing.

This means the body then ‘kick starts’ its own beta-endorphin (pain relieving) system.

The second way that magnets can be used on the body is to generally improve the flow of blood around the whole body. This is achieved when the molecules in the blood react to the magnetic energy field produced by the magnets.

Magnets encourage healing in such a wonderfully dramatic way. Why not see if it could work for you. What have you got to loose .…..

Magnet Healing

Magnet Healing is quietly finding its place in the world of complimentary medicine again when it comes to treating lower back pain and other musculoskeletal problems such as rheumatism and arthritis.

Often, when the little golden magnets are placed on the affected area, and the healing energy is released , relief can be obtained within minutes.

If this cold and damp weather is bringing out the aches and pains in you, why not book a healing session to see if the magnets can bring about a change for you.

You may just be surprised.
